Minsmere Stonechat
Along the beach by Minsmere RSPB, Suffolk are tank traps, large cast concrete cubes, remains from WWII, too solid to demolish. Practically every time I walk by them there is a stonechat sitting high on the gorse with its distinctive call, like two pebbles gently being knocked together.
